A contest for newspaper design in Russia aims to award newspapers that exhibit excellency in design and raise the standards for design in print media. Application deadline: April 13.

Newspapers, published during 2008, are accepted in seven nominations, including front page design and use of photography and graphics in newspaper design.

Participation is free. The contest is supported and funded by the New Eurasia foundation and USAID.
