Access to Information Region: Worldwide

Set to be launched by UNESCO and 32 partner institutions at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, the World Digital Library (WDL) will feature unique cultural materials from libraries and archives from around the world.

The Web site will function in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish, and will include content in additional languages.

Media are invited to attend a pre-launch press conference, which will take place at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris on April 21, at 11 a.m.
