'Media Cloud' tracks online stories, sources, blogs
Internet Region: Worldwide The Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University has partnered with Thomson Reuters on a research project to track the flow of online media.The 'Media Cloud' will track the flow of online media and allow visitors to analyze and visualize the data. It is intended to determine what types of stories are covered by certain media sources, where news stories originate, what parts of the world attract attention and which do not, what role reader comments play in setting the news agenda and how the blogosphere's coverage compares to traditional media coverage.For more information, go to http://www.mediacloud.org/.
