The Doha Centre for Media Freedom (DCMF) has approved financing for a new project that will enable journalism students in Europe, Israel and the Palestinian territories to get to know one another.

Initiated under the DCMF slogan, "Building tomorrow’s media," 36 journalism trainees will participate in The Reporters of Hope project, which includes visits to Palestine and Israel, helping to lay the foundation for dialogue and a commitment to promoting peace and unbiased reporting.

Accoring to the newspaper The Peninsula, students will go to the Gaza Strip, in hopes to combat the isolation imposed on the Palestinians who live there and the obstacles put in the way of journalists working there.
